The Diocese of Hamilton was erected as a Diocese February 29, 1856 by a division of the Diocese of Toronto. It comprises the Counties of Brant, Bruce, Grey, Halton, Waterloo, Wellington, Wentworth and four Townships in the County of Dufferin.
