Petition to the House of Commons

Attached there is a petition to the House of Commons laid out in proper format. The ACBO has requested that all dioceses take steps to have this petition signed by as many adult Canadian citizens as possible.

It is possible that others, such as those who are unable to attend church services, may wish to sign the petition and submit it. They may do so by sending it to the ACBO office

Submission of the Petition

The petitions will be submitted in the House of Commons by a Member of Parliament or, more effectively by a series of local MP's.

If this procedure is followed, the submission of the petitions will be recorded in Hansard.
