In 2005, Catholics in
Ontario will be celebrating marriage as a sacrament and a primordial
institution of the union of a man and a woman and the basis of the family,
an institution which has existed among all peoples from time immemorial.
Parishioners will be encouraged to study the Church's teaching on marriage,
to celebrate those who are already married and prepare those who wish to
marry. They will also be encouraged to make their vision of marriage known
to all.
